In the market for a new Samsung entry-level smartphone? Here’s one option for you, the Galaxy A03.

A follow-up to the Galaxy A03s that came out last year, the Samsung Galaxy A03 is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz.

But unlike most budget phones today, this product is a little more versatile as it comes in three RAM and storage configurations: 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 4GB and 128GB. If the storage is still not enough, there’s a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 1TB of external storage.

On the back, we have a pretty refreshing design, with a square island on the top left that houses a sharp 48-megapixel main camera.

Other than that, everything else looks pretty basic on this device. It only has a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT screen, 5-megapixel selfie shooter, acceptable 5,000mAh battery, and a microUSB port instead of the modern USB Type-C.

It also didn’t get to have a fingerprint scanner, but at least, as per the Samsung website, it has dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Samsung Galaxy A03 is now up for sale in the Philippines both on offline and online stores. It’s priced as low as Php5,490 for the 3GB/32GB base model, the 4GB/64GB costs Php1,000 more at Php6,490 with double that storage for another thousand bucks more at Php7,490.
