OPPO has a brand-new entry-level smartphone and the Philippines gets first dibs on it.
The new OPPO A16k features a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor, joined by a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage.
As you might expect, the rest of the specs list is pretty familiar for a budget device. There’s a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 1600 x 720 pixel resolution, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and 4,230mAh battery with 10W charging. It ships with Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1.
Despite what it looks like, it only has a single 13-megapixel camera on the back, the second circle only has an AI logo on it instead of being an ultra-wide or a depth sensor. It also has a familiar 3D glass-like design on the back that’s available in Blue.
The new OPPO A16K has a price of Php6,999 and will be available in OPPO Physical stores, Shopee, and Lazada starting November 3, 2021.
