Nokia’s latest release, the G300, is an entry-level 5G smartphone.

The new Nokia G300 utilizes a Snapdragon 480 processor, one of Qualcomm’s cheapest 5G-enabled chipsets. It has two Cortex-A76 performance cores and six Cortex A55 efficiency cores. Plus, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

Everything else about it is quite standard for a budget smartphone. We have an HD+ panel stretched at 6.5-inches, a decent 4,470mAh battery with 18W charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for a cleaner look at the back.

There’s a rounded glass for the 16-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The Nokia G300 has a price of USD199 (around Php10,100) and is now available in the United States via prepaid carriers TracFone Wireless and Straight Talk. Nokia should announce soon what other markets will get it.
