The public beta of Android 12 is now available. It comes with a major UI overhaul, enhanced data, and privacy measures, and other big changes meant to deliver “a one-of-a-kind-design, just for you.” If you want to try all the new features before everyone else does, then you’ll need to have one of these phones.

Updated list of smartphones supported by Android 12

  • Vivo iQOO 7
  • ASUS Zenfone 8
  • TCL 20 Pro 5G
  • ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G
  • Nokia X20
  • Tecno Pouvoir 4
  • OnePlus 9, 9 Pro
  • Realme GT 5G
  • Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11I and Mi 11X Pro
  • OPPO Find X3 Pro
  • Unspecified Sharp phone models

In addition to the ones above, Google’s own Pixel phones can also be used to enroll in the Android beta site. Specifically, the third to fifth generations of Pixel phones are compatible. The non-Pixel phones above have their own instructions on how to try Android 12 beta.

The number of initial devices that can install Android 12 is certainly more than what Android 11 beta had, but it still can’t beat the nearly two dozen that could install Android 10 (aka Q) Beta. But give it some more time, and the list of Android 12 Beta devices will grow.
